The MCU machine continues to roll on, and so do our episodes about it. This week we discuss Thor: Love and Thunder. Was Taika able to catch lighting in bottle for the second time? Six years ago, Ryan and I did an episode of Coming Off the Reels where we discussed Thor and Hobo with a Shotgun. At the end of the show, I think we both agreed that Thor was the lesser of those films. Six years, and many Marvel films later, we are discussing the latest MCU offering, Thor: Ragnarok. Without giving away too much, I will tell you that we enjoyed it more than the first Thor film, but perhaps still shy of Hobo with a Shotgun.

It is kind of hard to miss the media blitz for the latest Marvel film Thor, but just as entertaining, and maybe even more so, is the grindhouse inspired movie Hobo with a Shotgun. Both movies promise action packed sequences against the forces of evil, but only one of them has a hobo...with a shotgun.
