Avatar: The Way of Water

Our feelings toward the first Avatar film range from enjoyment to stunning indifference, but not from the people you might think. This week we are discussing the new sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water. Not to give too much away, but minds were changed in each direction. At least we all have plenty to say, both good and bad, about this larger than life movie.

Enjoy!

Brainscan

Before we post about some holiday films, please enjoy yet another episode from our weekend in the woods. Brainscan was one that may have been better only in memory, but we still had a lot of fun watching it. Plus, there are few things more relaxing than the dulcet tones of Edward Furlong screaming. The only thing better might be our impressions of Edward Furlong screaming.

Enjoy!

The Tomorrow War

Imagine that you are are living in the future, you are going about your everyday life, just trying to get by. One day, aliens begin to invade, and the population of the earth is decimated. The life you built, the people you love, all gone. You sit there, as the world is crumbling around you, and you think that things could literally not get any worse. Then you find out that Chris Pratt is the only hope for the human race. Ouch. That has got to sting. It’s like getting shot, but then also getting a paper cut at the very end.

Anyway…The Tomorrow War.

Enjoy!

The Vast of Night

Sometime, while we were all mostly stuck in our homes, a small science fiction movie was released on Amazon Prime called The Vast of Night. Sometimes the movies released in these crazy times feel more special than they are just because we are all desperate for anything new. Does The Vast of Night fall into this category, or is it actually a good, if not great, sci-fi entry. Guess you should probably listen to this episode to find out.

Enjoy!
